Boys Soccer team travels to Connecticut

The soccer team traveled down to Connecticut to play a two game series with Emmanuel Christian Academy on Friday and Central Christian Academy on Saturday.

Both games were hard-fought.  TCS lost to Emmanuel on Friday by a score of 2-1 as a penalty kick proved to be their undoing.

On Saturday
Central and TCS played to a 1-1 draw.

These games will prove valuable as the team prepares for the state tournament and hopefully the regional tournament.

Soccer Trinity vs SMCA

The Trinity soccer team won its home opener against
South Merrimack Christian Academy.

After giving up an early goal on a free kick, the team responded quickly when Alex scored on a nice feed from the right wing.
They pulled ahead for good in the second half on a nice chip shot from Zach.  TCS won by a final score of 2-1, but most impressive was their ball control and passing as they kept the game
in the offensive half of the field most of the day.

Trinity Volleball TCS vs SMCA

The Lady Swordsmen volleyball team won an exciting four game match in its home opener against defending regional champion South Merrimack Christian Academy
(25-20, 25-23, 21-25, 25-22).

The coaches were more excited that the
players accomplished their goals for this game:  communication, perseverance, and focus.  Most of all, the players chose to honor the Lord by using their talents individually to strengthen the team and earn a hard-fought victory.

The Squishy Duck award went to Junior
(aka Kaylee).
