Soccer Game Provides Opportunities for Discipleship!
After a sluggish start, the G4 team pulled it together in the second half to come away with a 6-1 win Monday night against Penacook. They picked up the intensity of their play after half-time, maintaining better possession and creating more scoring chances by playing the ball into the box from the outside wings.
"From my perspective, not only did they play well but they maintained great composure and positive attitudes in a tightly officiated game. This game provided some great teaching and discipleship moments with the guys on how to handle adversity and how to respond correctly to authorities on and off the field. We are praying that the lessons learned in this game carry over to the field for the next game as well as to their everyday lives." Coach Harding
